To submit a quote, start by logging into your SwiftQuote supplier profile. Once logged in, you will be on the ‘My Orders’ page.
To find new jobs and submit quotes, click over to the ‘Find Work’ page on the top right. Here you will be able to browse service requests in your area. The requests visible are based on the service radius set on the user account. This can be updated in ‘Settings’. Hover your cursor over the service request you are interested in quoting and click ‘View Request’.
Once on the request, click the green ‘Prepare Quote’ button on the bottom left. You will have the ability to add a customizable message before you send in the official quote.
If you click ‘Send a Message’ you will only be sending a personal message, not an official quote that can be accepted on the customer end. Payments
Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1 compliant online payment processor. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payment industry. If you’ve ever used a ride share or food delivery app, you’ve used Stripe.
During profile setup, it is up to the provider to chose how they will accept payments (cash, check, or credit card).
We recommend setting up your credit card payments as a provider because many businesses want to pay online. As a provider, you will also need to have a bank account linked in order to pay the commission fee, even on payments made via cash or check.
If a business ONLY pays via credit card and you do not have the credit card payment option set up – the establishment won’t be able to find your business.
When you are finished the new window will close and you will be directed to your profile set up screen.
Click ‘Update Profile’ below and you are good to go!
Only when you complete a job. There are no hidden fees for quoting, messaging, or creating your profile.
The commission fee is 9%, plus 3.5% fee for credit cards.
When submitting a quote, you will see exactly how the commission fee is factored in. You will be shown the price you are quoting and the amount you’ll receive after the commission fee.
If a customer pays via cash or cheque, you will be notified by a red dollar sign next to the completed order.
Navigate to the order page and click the green button that says ‘Pay £xxx for service.’ The fee will be automatically withdrawn from the linked bank account. If you have not yet added banking information, you will be prompted to do so.
Service documents recording
SwiftQuote is the online marketplace designed to connect grease management suppliers with customers in their area. SwiftComply is a software used by water companies to regulate their compliance programs.
One of the perks of booking services in SwiftQuote is when you upload a photo of the service document while closing the job, it is automatically uploaded to SwiftComply for you. The goal is to save you some time on the back end and make sure the facilities you are servicing stay as up to date as possible on compliance services.
As a supplier, your SwiftQuote profile is also linked to the approved provider list each water company has created within SwiftComply. This allows customers to easily select you as their designated supplier, as well as quickly put out a service request or message you via SwiftQuote.
When closing out a job, you have the option to add documents. We recommend snapping a photo of the service document or test report and uploading it here.
All service documents and test reports attached to closed jobs are automatically uploaded to your water company’s SwiftComply database on your behalf.
SwiftQuote does not require service providers to submit before and after photos of completed work. We encourage providers to follow all of their jurisdictions guidelines on completing services.
If photos are required in your area, you may add them in the ‘Add documents’ section when closing out a job.
All documents attached to closed jobs will be automatically uploaded to your water company’s SwiftComply database.
